Frequently asked questions
Does my dog have to be desexed to go on our walks?
No. Whilst we prefer dogs over 7 months to be desexed we can accomodate dogs that are not. They may have to be on lead and depending on the breed, temperament and gender may also need to be walked solo, but we can do it.
We prefer if you provide your own collar and/or harness with ID tag, but should you get stuck we have spares. Keys/access to your property (if required).
We are unable to accept returns on certain items. These will be carefully marked before purchase.
What do we provide?
We‘ll look after the dog poo bags and treats. If you would prefer us use your own treats we can do that too (just leave them for us). We will of course send you some snaps of your dog on the walk and having some fun.
What if I need to cancel my booking?
We understand sometimes plans change. We’re pretty flexible so don’t worry you won’t lose your money. We can either reschedule or issue you with a credit to use in future. We can’t provide refunds though.
What are the booking terms?
We hate all the term stuff, but we know it’s important, so here goes.
Access to your property
Obviously it goes without saying if you book a dog walk and your dog is in the front or rear yard then your booking is implied that we can access that area to get your dog. We’ll ensure your dog is returned and any locks activated so everything is as it was when we arrived.
No such thing as bad dogs
However, We understand some dogs might be learning, need some training or perhaps not know boundaries and so may show signs of aggression. If you have one of these dogs or a dog that has been declared dangerous please let us know beforehand. It won’t mean we don’t walk them, rather we know so take steps to avoid any incidents or damage to persons or animals.
In the unlikely event we haven’t been made aware of such things, including your dog is a prolific escape artist or due to circumstances beyond our control occur where your dog may require a vet visit or need collection from an animal shelter, you may be liable for those costs.
Social Media
Unless advised otherwise your dog may be photographed and we may be responsible for the start of their influencer career. It’s up to you to advise us should you not want this to occur.
Vaccinations/Council Registration
It is your responsibility to ensure your dog is currently registered with the council and is up to date with vaccinations, worming and flea treatments. Any council fines will be your responsibility.
